Later the article talks about the salary a criminologist would be getting. It tells us that it depends on a few factors and it is not the same for everyone. For example the salary of a 4 year university professor in criminology with a PhD, would be very different than the one of a local law enforcement officer without a PhD.

The article ends up by telling us that in order to be a criminologist you need to be really interested in what you are doing. You have to be mentally and physically prepared for what comes with a job like this.
